Debate & Presentation Club

I know this is a debate club, but our kids wouldn’t have much to lean on without the skills to adequately research on the topics for discussion. A couple of things to emphasize and focus on: reputable sources, reason for bias, consistency across sources, expert opinion, stats and figures.

For practice, our kids have identified a couple of areas they’d be interested in reading up on - Prions, Kombucha, Newtons laws, Aboriginal culture, and “a very bad drug”. Not quite what I expected, but definitely a good starting points!
